What are some good places to buy real estate now in preparation for global warming?
I know that no one can say for sure where it will get hot or cold or dry up or whatever, but failing to plan is planning to fail. So assuming a warmer planet, where might be livable in 50 or 100 years? For sure the coasts will flood. Someplace like Alaska could be good, but once all that perma-frost melts its going to be a mess. Plus they'll have black fly problems all year long. How about someplace in the mountains? With a reliable water supply? What about food? What about electricity? Some countries don't allow foreigners to buy real estate, so if that's an issue I happen to be American.
